Our
Ingredients
Our ingredients are all-natural, organic and free of parabens, alcohol, artificial colorants and formaldehyde. Many of them are grown in and harvested from our own backyard garden in the Bay, and they are always vegan and cruelty-free.
Some are ewe, or sacred herbs, some are products used in ceremony and others have been passed down over the years through abuelita medicine.
Ruda
Ruda is an ancestral plant considered sacred across many different cultures, frequently used in ceremonies and cleansing rituals. It is known for clearing spiritual disturbances, purification, breaking spells and warding off unwanted spirits.

Cascarilla
Cascarilla, or effun, is a pillar ingredient in our practice made of ground egg shells. In chalk form, it is used to draw sigils and symbols of protection around the home. In powder form, it can be sprinkled around doors and windows to provide a protective barrier, added to baths for personal cleansings and much more.

Achiote
Achiote — an orange-red condiment and food coloring derived from the seeds of the achiote tree — can be found in kitchen cabinets all across Latin America and the Carribean. Our abuelitas have cooked with these seeds for generations, and we use it as a natural dye in our products.

Alamo Leaf
Alamo, also known as the Sacred Fig or Bo Tree, is well-known for its divinity in several different cultures. It serves as a shelter for meditation and worship, and Buddhis and aminist shrines are often placed near its trunk. In Regla de Ocha, Alamo leaves are used in ceremonies for certain orishas.

Botón de Oro, commonly known as Indian Mallow, is a tender yet powerful shrub-like plant that sprouts yellow flowers, which can be used as a natural colorant. Its leaves are used in ceremonies for certain orishas.

Avocado Leaf
The avocado fruit is widely known as a nutritional powerhouse, but other parts of the plant possess beneficial qualities as well. Indigenous communities have long used avocado leaves in medicinal womb steams to promote reproductive health.
